Introduction
Tasalli provides JSON based REST-ful API accessibility for customers to call to send payloads to perform various types of transactions such as create customers, create payments, query status, update information etc. Webhooks are used to deliver status updates and payment settlement information in an asynchronous manner.
API connectivity involves having onboarded to Tasalli platform and received API keys among other formalities. To get access to our platform, please contact us.
Steps to getting started
You need to have your account setup and configured in Tasalli platform in order for you to conduct the various business operations.
We will provide you with the necessary details to start interacting with our simulation (stage) environment for you to try out. Once officially onboarded, you shall be given access to the production environment.
The validation steps are:
- Test your connectivity and interaction with our API endpoints and webhooks in a stage (sandbox) environment.
- We take you through a QA process to confirm successful integration. Optionally, we will provide a set of testing scripts to expedite your testing process.
- Finally, you will be promoted to use the API in the production environment.
Stage Environment
To connect to the API in a stage (testing) environment, you will need:
- Access to our staging portal URL.
- Login credentials for the Staging Portal (these are provided to you during the onboarding process)
- Your authentication profile
Production Environment
Once testing and validation are complete, we will onboard, setup and configure your production environment.
You’ll be given the initial credentials to connect to the production environment.
At this point, you’ll be able to provide access to your staff and onboard your corporate, and individual customers.
